Carson Powell is the Owner and President of J.F. Safety Consulting Inc., which is a multifaceted Health and Safety consulting company with an emphasis on COR, OHSAS and ISO Auditing. Carson has been in the health and safety industry for ten years, with previous experience in all sectors of the oil and gas industry. Carson is a certified external auditor for Enform, Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors (CAODC), Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP), Alberta Municipal Health and Safety Association (AMHSA), Alberta Safety Council (ASC) and is also a Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety). As a health and safety professional, Carson carries the CRSP designation through the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals, the CSP designation through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (United States) and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (United Kingdom). His extensive health and safety knowledge coupled with vast professional auditing experience, allows Carson to specialize in leading and participating in large scale, complex audits. Carson also has site safety management experience on multimillion dollar, multi-contractor projects with zero recordable injuries/illnesses.
